Mr. Terry L. Richards

ATTLEBORO – Terry L. Richards, 71, of Attleboro passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 50 years to Joyce (Laberge) Richards.

Born June 13, 1943 in Stanton, Texas he was a son of the late Clifford and Cleo Richards.
Terry graduated from Kermit High School in 1961 and then served in the United States Navy. After he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy he graduated from Bryant University. Terry was a self-employed CPA and Financial Planner.

Terry lived in Attleboro, MA for over 40 years with his wife and then they both moved to Texas for 10 years, returning to Attleboro in 2014.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his two children Christine and her husband Dr. Ron Stewart of Lincoln, RI and Michael Richards and his wife Jill of Attleboro; two grandchildren, Meredith and Lauren Richards both of Attleboro; two sisters, Betty Douglass of Kansas and Sharron and her husband Doug Molloy of TX; three brothers, Jimmy Richards and his wife Patti of TX, Charles Richards and his wife Joy of TX and Dan Richards of Virginia; one aunt, Vivian Cook and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street Attleboro.

A funeral will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at 9 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, followed by a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk.

Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
