Steven Chaet

Steven A. Chaet of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 78 years of age. Beloved life partner of Joanne Florio off 33 years. Son of the late the late Rose (Rosenblatt) and Harry Chaet. Loving father of Heidi Sainsbury and her husband Darryl of Rotunda Lake, FL; Toni Chaet and her husband Josh of Maine; and Dee Chaet also of Maine. Cherished grandfather of Jayden and Julianna. Adored brother of Susan Shrager and her husband Bob of Tucson, AZ.

Steven was born in Springfield, MA and lived in Brockton, Avon and Mansfield throughout his life. He serviced in the United States Navy aboard the USS Laffey for 6 years before he was honorably discharged. He worked as a police officer for 14 years and later as an entrepreneur and owner of an electronic retail store.

Steven was a member of the Blue Knights. He enjoyed playing cards, slot machines, playing baseball, watching old movies such as, Gunsmoke and Clint Eastwood westerns and loved home cooking. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
