Stephen Conley

CONLEY – Stephen John. 70, of Waltham, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2022 at his home.

Born on September 19, 1952 in Providence, RI he was a son of the late Robert Francis and Claire Christine Conley.

Stephen grew up in Attleboro and moved to Waltham in 2006 where he currently resided. He was a recent graduate of Boston College and received a BA in Political Science.

Stephen proudly served in the United States Navy for 26 years and obtained the rank of Hospital Corpsman First Class.

He was a devout Catholic and a member of the Secular Franciscan Order and the Knights of Columbus. Stephen was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Waltham, MA.

He enjoyed fishing, reading and was an avid fan of football and baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox.

Stephen is survived by his siblings, Mike Conley and his wife Karen of Yelm, WA, Anne Costantino and her husband Nick of Safety Harbor, FL, Mark Conley of Orangevale, CA, Greg Conley of Anchorage, AL, Christopher Conley and his wife Lois of Wolfeboro, NH, Peter Conley and his wife Beverly of Peachtree City, GA, Jacqueline Anzivino and her husband Tony of Derry, NH and Claire Conley of Denver, CO; his nieces and nephews, Brent Teffeteller both of Olympia, WA, Shawn, Ryan and Faith Costantino all of Miami, FL, Michael Conley of Orangevale, CA, Erin and Kayla Conley and Krissy Mullen all of Wolfeboro, NH, David Conley, Emily Lightsey and Daniel Conley of Peachtree City, GA, Tony Anzivino and his fiancee Karla Levering, Mitchel and Matthew Anzivino all of Derry, NH.

He was the brother of the late Robert Conley and brother-in-law to the late Lucy Conley.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stephen may be made to the St. Mary’s Church, 133 School St, Waltham, MA 02451 for the After School Program.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the St. John Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro.
