Russell Bonner

Russell Bonner, 63, passed away on 29 January 2025 in Rutland, Vermont. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to Walter and Gloria (Barrett) Bonner in 1961, he grew up in that city and attended Attleboro High School. Russell lived for a number of years in Norton, MA and in Texas, then spent the last three decades in the Rutland, Vermont, area.

After leaving high school, Russell attended trade school in Providence, RI, specializing in auto body repair. Over the years he worked in construction of various types, along with occasional winter employment at the Killington ski lifts.

Russell was a free spirit who lived his life without much care for personal possessions or most of the creature comforts others would take for granted. His essential good nature, unique charisma, and generosity ensured that he never lacked for friends wherever he went.

Russell is survived by his sister Darlene Bonner and her spouse John Davis of Bristol, RI.

He was predeceased by his partner Jodi Corbeels, his parents, and two older brothers, Wayne and Barry.

Burial will be private, at St. John’s Cemetery in Attleboro, under the direction of Duffy-Poule Funeral & Cremation Services.
