NORTH ATTLEBORO - Ron D. Henry, 73, of North Attleboro passed away on July 16, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro, MA.
Our Dad's wings were ready, but we were not. Our love and memories will never be forgotten.
Ron (Dad) loved the outdoors, animals and especially people. His friendships were for a life time. He was a loyal and loving Father, Son, Brother and Friend.
Ron loved to cook whether it was at home or camping. Sometimes with a camp stove on the table in the house.
Over the years, he has lost many friends and family and has struggled with his health, but through it all, his love and friendships carried him through.
At the hospital, the Doctors could not believe the strength and tenacity he had. We the family would like to thank all the Doctors and Nurses at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for all the care given in room 316-2. Even the Nurses who were not caring for him that stopped in to check on him.
He is survived by his children Julie Henry-Walker of Utah, Scott Henry and his wife Deb of Rhode Island, David Henry and his wife Sharon of Florida, Aubrey Henry and Ryan Wilbur of Maine; grandchildren, Jayson Henry and his wife Sarah, Damon Walker, Jaymes Henry, Jesse Henry, Christopher Henry, Samantha Henry, Wyatt Henry, Mayson Henry, Riley Wilbur and Paityn Wilbur, Kelsey Haworth, Kaitlyn Wescott and her husband Mike; great grandsons, Marshall Henry and Zachary Wescott; also survived by his sister, Laurie Henry DiGiantommaso and her husband Mike, and his ex-wife, Christine Henry.
Ron also had several nieces and nephews and many other children who loved him and will always remember him as "Uncle Ron," "Grampa," "Mr. Mom," "Gramps'' and many Fur babies who he loved so much, especially his Kitty 'M,' Madison, who got to give him good-bye snuggles.
He is predeceased by his parents, Aubrey D. Henry and Selma E. Henry and his sister Jan Henry-Newman-Meglio and ex-wife, Linda Rossier Henry
A special thank you to Denise Leard for all her care and support to Ron and our family.
We send you off with your flannel shirt and flip flops, but we will forever hold you in our hearts.
Burial will be private.
