Robert Mitchell Sr.

Robert M. Mitchell, Sr., 66, of Attleboro passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family and under the wonderful care of hospice. He was the beloved husband of Sharon R. (Smith) Mitchell.

Born November 11, 1957 he was the son of Donald P. Mitchell of Georgia and the late Jean Eva (LaPalme) Mitchell.

He was a graduate of Attleboro High School and worked for Ed Liston Landscaping and Farmer’s Village Landscaping both in Attleboro before he started landscaping on his own. Bob enjoyed gardening, fishing, hiking, football and basketball. He is remembered by his family as a great football player.

In addition to his wife Sharon and his father Donald he is survived by a sister; Sunshine Moquin of Decatur, TN; two sons, Robert M. Mitchell, Jr., of Attleboro and Cory Mitchell of Menlo, IA; a step son, Joseph Martel of Seekonk and a step daughter, Kelly Martel of North Attleboro; three grandsons, Dylan Martel of Seekonk, Liam Mitchell and Kinkaid Mitchell both of IA; a nephew, Jared Rodriguez-Mitchell of MA, two nieces, Brandy Hitson and Lindsey Flowers both of TN and a beloved cat, Bear of Attleboro. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Mitchell and a brother, Donald Mitchell.
