Robert "Rob" Ceasar Giorgi, Jr.

Robert "Rob" C. Giorgi, Jr., 47, of Smith Street, Providence, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed unexpectedly on Monday, April 15, 2013 at home. He was the beloved son of Barbara Mangiante Wyzansky of Pawtucket and Robert C. Giorgi, Sr. of North Providence.

Born in Providence on December 12, 1965, Rob was raised in Riverside and was a graduate of East Providence High School, Class of 1983. Rob was formerly employed as a manager at Bally Total Fitness in both North Providence and East Providence. Rob received the gift of life, a heart transplant, over eight years ago. He enjoyed interior decorating, cooking for family and friends and socializing with his friends in downtown Providence. Rob had a generous heart and a radiant smile. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by two brothers: Benjamin Wyzansky and Marc Wyzansky, both of Providence; a sister: Lisa Giorgi of Providence; a nephew: Dante Jackson of Providence and many friends.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 4 PM - 5 PM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Celebration of Rob's Life will follow at 5 PM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Corey Auger, Pastor of the Pawtuxet Baptist Church in Providence. At the request of the family, visiting hours are respectfully omitted and private burial will be held at a later date.
