It is with profound sorrow and a sense of deep loss that we announce the unexpected passing of a special soul, Robert J. Flynn on February 4, 2026, affectionately known to many as Rob. Born on May 1, 1975, in Boston to Robert and Margaret Flynn.
He was a loving father, a patriotic American, a lifelong fan of all thing’s hockey especially Bruins, he loved to golf especially in charitable tournaments and was a steadfast supporter of law enforcement. Rob had a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to lend a hand and bring a smile to the face of those around him. He was a beacon of laughter, reliability, and talent, illuminating the lives of those around him with his clever humor and infectious laugh. His dedication to his work as a plumber made him not just a trusted professional, but a respected figure in his field. He was the proud owner of RJ Flynn Plumbing and Heating, a testament to his tireless work ethic and reliability. His love for life was so contagious that he quickly made friends everywhere he went, his warm, loving personality drawing people to him like a magnet. Rob was simply, everybody's friend.
Robert is survived by his beloved daughter Kenzie, the apple of his eye, and the jewel of his heart and her mother Kasha Flynn. He also leaves behind his niece Madalyn Scarpino, his uncle William Monahan and aunt Sharon, also many treasured family and friends.
His parents, Robert and Margaret Flynn, and his sister Michelle Flynn precede him in death.
