CUMBERLAND, RI - Paul C. Zuzick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his home in Cumberland RI. He was the beloved husband of Joan Marie (Tonsmeire) Zuzick for 34 years.
Paul was longtime resident of Foxboro and he also lived in in Attleboro for 17 years.
Born in Bridgeport, CT., on Oct. 20, 1929, Paul grew up in Trumbell, CT., and was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University. He proudly served as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force in the SAC bomb wing during the Korean War.
He and his wife Joan spent many years of true love, respect, and laughter on a daily basis. After years of employment as a sales manager in the insurance industry, he joined his wife in their own business of retails sales. Together they traveled the country displaying therapeutic furniture at home and medical shows until he semi-retired in 1992. He continued to work on a part time basis for Residex in Norwood, where he and owner Matt Twomey became life-long friends.
Paul’s favorite times were those spent in the presence of his adoring family at family gatherings. He enjoyed golf, watching and playing sports with good friends, especially a weekly WII bowling tournament with his neighbors on Dewey Ave; trophies and all!
Anyone who knew Paul loved him and loved being in his company. His hilarious sense of humor, wit, and timely one liners were entertaining to everyone lucky enough to be in his presence.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, daughter Kathleen Mallett and her husband Rick, son, Paul Zuzick and his wife Deborah, and his daughter Karen Zuzick.
