Paul Mongeau

Paul B. Mongeau, a humble and dedicated man, passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 65. Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on November 7, 1957, he was a reliable and supportive husband, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Sheryl Pitas Mongeau; his sisters, Rose Marie (Russell) Kraczkowski, Diane (Anne) Mongeau; his brother Nelson (Brenda) Mongeau; and his sister-in-law Maria Mongeau.
He was preceded in death by his father Laurent Mongeau, his mother Noella Mongeau, and his brother Richard Mongeau.

Paul was a journeyman electrician for 42 years at the Rhode Island Chapter of IBEW Local 99. In his free time, he loved the outdoors, boating both fresh and saltwater along with fishing, grilling for his family, woodworking projects, and spending time with friends and family at his second home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Miriam Hospital for the care provided to Paul.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00 am at Newell Burying Grounds, 1502 West Street, Attleboro.
