Mrs. Matilda Skinner

Attleboro – Matilda Skinner, 86, passed away on November 8, 2013. She was the wife of the late James R. Skinner.

Born in Attleboro, MA on January 28, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Santos.

Matilda was raised and educated in Attleboro and was a 1945 graduate of Attleboro High School. She was employed as an office secretary for the Attleboro YMCA and was a quality control manager for Leavens Manufacturing for over 22 years. Matilda was most of all a loving caregiver to her husband and sons.

She is survived by a son, James Skinner of Attleboro; a brother, Thomas Santos of Florida; a sister Olive Butterfield of Attleboro; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is the mother of the late Glenn and Mark Skinner; the sister of the late Manuel and Joseph Santos and the late Mary Demarais.
