In Loving Memory of Marcia Eleanor King, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and cherished member of her community, who passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, at the age of 90. Known to everyone as “Mom,” Marcia touched countless lives with her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.

Born on November 10, 1933, in Attleboro, MA, Marcia was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan, cheering for her team with unwavering passion. Her love for games extended beyond baseball as she was an avid puzzle solver and game player, always challenging her mind and sharing her joy with others. Her special talent for knitting and crocheting resulted in beautiful pieces that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Her knack for winning on scratch tickets was legendary and became a fun tradition among those close to her.

Marcia is survived by her children Linda (Larry) Summarell, Patricia King, David King, and Michael King; her grandchildren Rebecca (Warren) Frye, Joseph Summarell, Benjamin King, and Laura (John) Ingemi; her great grandchildren Ella Rose and Eleanor Judith. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph King and her parents Gustav and Lydia Novak.

Marcia's love for her family and community truly defined her. She was a loving wife, a dedicated homemaker, and a guiding light for her children, grandchildren, and friends. Her home was always open, her heart always full, and her support never wavered. Marcia leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and kindness. Her family and friends will forever remember her strength, humor, and the countless memories shared with her.
