Mr. Luke Maloney

–

Attleboro, Massachusetts

Luke Maloney passed away Nov. 8, 2015. He left large footprints, yet tender memories. He had a dramatic personality, yet a sensitive soul. A booming, infectious laugh, yet charmingly quiet thoughts. He touched the lives of thousands of people, and will live on in the hearts of every single one.

Luke lived in a dozen places across the country, but was most proud of the time he spent defending his country in Iraq. His country was so proud of his service that it tapped him to represent the United States at the 65th anniversary of the Normandy Invasion in France. Only a handful of vets stood on the cliffs that day as the world leaders commemorated one of the greatest days in world history, and Luke stood in solemn tribute as the best of the American best.

He returned to Massachusetts shortly after that, where he met his beautiful wife and life partner, Jennifer. Together with her and her two children, Lizzie and Jake, they settled into a warm life in Norton, where he developed the final memories and friendships that those closest and most fortunate will carry with forever.

In addition to his wife and stepchildren, he is survived by his mother Deborah Maloney; sister Amy Maloney Kone'; brother Andrew Maloney; nephew A.J. Maloney; and numerous aunts and cousins. He was loved by all.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to his favorite charity, The Pacific Garden Mission, 1458 S. Canal, Chicago, IL., 60607-5201.
