Ms. Kristen O'Leary

ATTLEBORO - Kristen O’Leary, 32, of Attleboro MA, formerly North Attleboro, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2016 in the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI.

Kristen was born on May 21, 1984 in Norwood, MA. She was the beloved daughter of Paul and Kathy O’Leary of North Attleboro MA. She was the loving sister to Paul Jr and Elizabeth O’Leary of Attleboro, Michael and Catherine O’Leary of Greenville SC and Nicholas O’Leary of North Attleboro. She was also the loving Aunt to her nephews Brendan and Trevor O’Leary, both of Attleboro. She is also survived by her Grandfather, Warren Baker of Walpole and her Godmother, Lynne Brown of Attleboro.

Kristen grew up in North Attleboro and was a 2002 graduate of North Attleboro High School, where she enjoyed playing field hockey. She went on to graduate from Curry College. She worked for many years as a project environmental scientist at Coneco in West Bridgewater, MA.

Kristen was a true New England sports fan and loved tailgating and attending as many Red Sox and Patriot games as she could. She loved the outdoors and was an avid camper. A 2-time cancer survivor, Kristen lived to bring people together to create memories, through parties, celebrations, outings, concerts and all types of events. She had a true wanderlust and was overjoyed to have traveled to Ireland where she could learn more about her heritage. She loved to travel and couldn’t wait to plan her next adventure where she could spend time with her friends and family.

Kristen had a great love for animals. To Kristen, pets were always part of the family, and she treated her dog “Sofie” like the little sister she never had.

Kristen’s greatest passion and joy in life was her family. She and her family, which included her parents and siblings, would do everything together. Kristen was more than a friend to so many, just as they were much more to her. She would always be willing to bend over backwards to help family or a friend in need, no matter that cost or time. Kristen had the biggest heart and she will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA immediately followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
