Jose Estremera

Jose Estremera, 94, a resident of Great Woods in Norton, formerly of Rehoboth and Attleboro passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Gertrude (Ortiz) Estremera.

Born June 4, 1932 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Ramon and Rita (Gonzalez) Estremera.

Jose was employed as a machine operator for the former Texas Instruments, he enjoyed gardening and music. He was a devout catholic and attended the former St. Joseph's Church in Attleboro.

He is survived by his children; Elizabeth Piva of Plymouth, MA, Jose Estremera of South Attleboro, Maria Maslen of Norton, Rose McCracken of Limington, ME and Antonio Estremera of Brewer, ME; 13 beloved grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Margaret Estremera.

The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at the Residence of Great Woods and Hands and Hearts Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 10:00 am in St. John Evangelist Church 133 North Main St., Attleboro.

Visitation and Interment will be private.
