John Bryant Jewett

John Bryant Jewett, born March 1, 1960, in Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2026 at his home.

A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, John split his time between Norton, where he grew up and graduated High School, and Attleboro, the city he called home for the majority of his life. John served his community as a barkeep at JR's Bar & Grille. He also worked at American Textile and Pleasant Street Nursing Home, highlighting his commitment to hard work and camaraderie.

A devoted son and friend, John was always happy to see you and ask how you were doing. An avid sports fan, John's passion for wrestling and NASCAR was legendary among his friends and family. Despite an injury that prevented him from indulging in his love for bike riding, John never allowed it to dampen his spirit. Instead, he channeled his energy into cherishing the simple pleasures of life, like hanging out with friends and immersing himself in the world of sports.

John will be fondly remembered by his adoring mother, Lynne P. (Gorman) Jewett of Attleboro; his son, Jonathan M. Perry of South Attleboro; his sister, Robin P. (Jewett) Perry of Attleboro; and his brother, Mark D. Jewett and his wife, Melissa (Pedini) of South Attleboro. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren and six loving nieces.

His father, John C. Jewett, and his brother, Scott Robert Jewett, predeceased him.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

Services for John are under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA.
