John Doocey

John Patrick Doocey of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at 61 years of age. Beloved husband of Yvonne Ruck-Doocey. Son of Rita Marie (Powers) and Alfred Charles Doocey. Loving father of Edward Ruck and his wife Erin of Gardner, Joseph DeCosta of Attleboro, Mary Percival and her husband Cory of Attleboro and Bethany Parisi and her husband Andrew of Attleboro. Cherished grandfather of Bella Parisi, Annalise Parisi, Carter Percival, Aubrey Percival and Lucy Lovett Ruck. Adored brother of William Doocey of Quincy, Kathleen Fair of Rockland and the late Paul Doocey. John also leaves many nieces and nephews.

John was born in Boston and grew up in South Boston and was a graduate of South Boston High School. He moved to Attleboro in 1994. He worked as a union carpenter until his retirement. John was a stein collector, a lover of Disney World vacations, traveling and visiting with family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10-12 PM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Services were held privately.
