Jeffrey L. Danforth Jr.

Jeffrey Lee Danforth Jr., 56, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away in Attleboro on August 27, 2026.

Born on March 20, 1970, Jeffrey was the son of the late Jeffrey Danforth Sr. and Joan Olson. Jeffrey attended Attleboro High School and spent his working years as a tradesman and painter. He was a hands-on person who especially enjoyed working on cars. In his free time, Jeffrey loved fishing, watching television, spending time with friends, and, most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Jeffrey is survived by his daughters, Katie Danforth of Seekonk, Massachusetts, and Shyla Danforth of Warwick, Rhode Island; his sisters, Windy Robertson of Buckfield, Maine, Christy Baker of Augusta, Maine, and Jodi McCann of Leeds, Maine; and his beloved grandchildren, Rylee Goudreau and Ryder Szlachciuk, both of Seekonk, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jeffrey will be remembered for the simple things that brought him happiness—working on cars, casting a fishing line, relaxing with friends, and sharing time and laughter with the people he cared about. His greatest joy was his family, particularly the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren.

Jeffrey’s family would like to extend a special thank you to his caseworker, Dana, for her compassionate care and unwavering support; to Carol at Lawrence Medical Center in Attleboro, for always going above and beyond for Jeffrey; and to his dear friend George, for his friendship, loyalty, and for always being there when Jeffrey needed him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 5-7 pm on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. Burial will take place at a later date.

Jeffrey’s memory will live on through his daughters, grandchildren, sisters, family, and friends, and through the many memories they shared with him.
