Jeannine M. Kaminski

Jeannine M. Kaminski, 76, of Seekonk, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro on September 26, 2026 . She was the beloved wife of Stephen T. Kaminski. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary the day before her passing.

Born on March 30, 1950, in Fall River, MA, Jeannine was the daughter of the late Alvin C. and Martha T. (Goddu) Cantin. She graduated from St. John the Evangelist School in 1964, Bishop Feehan High School in 1968, and Taunton Beauty Academy in 1969.

Jeannine worked as a hairdresser at three local salons. She later spent 13 years caring for others through Attleboro CNA and Home Instead. She enjoyed reading, dining out with friends, and traveling and taking cruises with her husband and daughter.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughter, Stacey A. Kaminski of Seekonk; her aunt, Jeannette Karcher of North Attleboro; and her uncle and aunt, Albert and Arline Goddu of Portsmouth, RI.

Jeannine’s family would like express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Sturdy Memorial Hospital who cared for her during her brief stay. They'd especially like to recognize Vicky, Patrick, Courtney, Emily, and Dr. Roloff in the ER for their care and compassion as well as Kristy, Eileen, and Dr. Evans in the ICU. You are such a dedicated staff who are exceptional at your jobs and showed kindness and compassion to the family throughout this overwhelming process. Thank you to Fr. Pregana, and all the family and friends who have demonstrated so much love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your support and compassion have eased the families burden and grief in so many ways.

Visitation is respectfully omitted.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA. Burial will be held privately.
