Jeanne Buckley

Jeanne Marie (Moynihan) Buckley, 70, of Attleboro passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John David Buckley.

Born June 28, 1954 in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Robert Moynihan and the late Patricia (Viglione) Benson.

Jeanne was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of St. Clare High School in Roslindale. She later made her home with her family in Attleboro.

Jeanne started her nursing career at Sturdy Memorial Hospital working in labor and delivery before transitioning to pediatric care. She was a licensed practical nurse, certified childbirth educator and a certified lactation counselor.

Jeanne loved to travel and spend time with her family, especially her seven beloved grandchildren. She was a longtime communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro.

She is survived by her children, Kelli Buckley of Attleboro, John Buckley, Jr. (Johnna) of Mansfield, Adam Buckley (Molly) of Plainville and Ashleigh Doyle (Colin) of Maynard, MA; her loving grandchildren, Madeline, Gia, Anna, Cole, Jack, Kellen and Ashe; a sister, Eileen O'Connell (Bill) of Florida. She was also the sister of the late, Kevin Moynihan.

Jeanne's family would like to thank her wonderful care team: Gilda, Patricia, Witcherly, Carla, Amelia and Jemilla.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 4 - 7:00 PM, at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck St., Attleboro, MA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to: Bristol Aging and Wellness, 1 Father DeValles Boulevard, Unit 8, Fall River, MA 02723.
