Frederick Morris

Frederick L. Morris, a dedicated and humble lifelong resident of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, was born on December 9, 1945, in Fall River, MA, and passed away on May 28, 2025.

Frederick spent most of his life tirelessly working as a laborer in the construction industry and for 7Up as a forklift driver, a testament to his dedication and humility. Despite the hard work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a regular attendee at classic car shows and enjoyed watching Westerns. A lover of music, he was often found listening to the tunes of Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix. His love for food was renowned among his friends and family. He was a man of few words, yet his actions spoke volumes about his character.

Frederick is survived by his two brothers, Edward Morris of Cranston, RI and Stephen Morris and his wife Lorrie of Rehoboth; his sister, Diana Delouise of Plymouth; his niece Sherry Farrell and her two children, Jared Morris and Jackson Farrell all of Rhode Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Virginia Morris.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who enriched Frederick's life with their presence and support. As Bob Dylan once said, "A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do." Frederick truly lived by these words, embracing life with open arms, always finding joy in his work, hobbies, and the company of his loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, RI.
