Ella Floyd

Ella May Floyd of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 13, 2021 at 85 years of age, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence RI. She was the beloved wife of Douglas Floyd of 63 years.

Born April 14, 1936 in Boston, MA to the late Edward and Alma (Gaumond) Oxford.

Ella resided in Franklin, MA most of her adult life, her golden years were spent in Maine and Florida. She was most recently a resident at Christopher Heights in Attleboro.

She loved to cook and spend time with her family, her family was her world and she will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter’s Cheryl Wegner and husband Bill of Howell, NJ, Cindy Bromann and husband Pete of Attleboro, MA, Michelle Gould and husband Dennis of Sumner, ME, son’s Kenneth Floyd of Foxboro and Stephen Floyd of Brentwood, NH; her grandchildren Erin Garcia and Kati Shorey of Howell, NJ; Ashley Floyd and Connor Floyd of Brentwood, NH; Kevin McDonough, Sean McDonough and Lauren McDonough all of Attleboro; her great-grandchildren Samuel and Julia Garcia, Layla Caloia, Max and Noah Shorey, Aubree Bromann and Paige McDonough.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 10-12 PM at Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. Service will take place at 12 PM. Burial at North Purchase Cemetery, 1085 N. Main St., Attleboro will take place immediately following service.
