Edna Deighan

Edna Dolores (Fredette) Deighan of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Ralph R. Deighan. Daughter of the late Alice (Mossey) and Emile J. Fredette. Loving mother of Peter Deighan of Attleboro and the late Alice Deighan. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Deighan and her fiancé Michael Drape of Pawtucket, RI; and Nicolas Deighan and his wife Phylicia of Attleboro. Adored great-grandmother of Cameron, Raelynn, Zoe and Hendrix. Edna also leaves her loving nieces and nephews.

Edna was born in Attleboro and was the youngest of 6 siblings. She attended school in Attleboro up to the 6th grade and then left to help raise her siblings after her mother passed. She moved to Zephyrhills, FL from 1996-2017 and returned to Attleboro in 2017 until her passing. Edna worked for T.I. for 35 years as a press operator until her retirement. She was involved in many clubs in her community in Florida. She did crafts with her friends and would make cards and other things to give to her family.

The Deighan family would like to thank Bristol Elder Services for all their help and support in helping Stephanie care for her grandmother Edna’s these last couple of years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk. Burial to follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, 683 S. Main St., Attleboro.
