Devonte Parissi

Devonte Alberto Parissi, 22, of Central Falls, Rhode Island, passed away on October 31, 2024. Born on September 28, 2002, in Attleboro, MA, Devonte was a bright and adventurous soul who lived his life with an infectious energy that touched everyone he met. His creative spirit shone brightly, whether he was expressing himself through his passionate rapping, engaging in spirited video games, or taking care of his brothers with a gentle and loving hand.

Devonte is survived by his mother, Nancy Chem of Central Falls, RI; his father; Julio Parissi; his three brothers, Davion Parissi of Central Falls, RI, Jason Patterson of North Attleboro, MA, Maximilian Norman of Central Falls; his uncles Peter and Tinny Chem both of Cranston, RI; his aunts Nasa Chem, of Washington DC, Syda Ou, of Attleboro, MA, Sydoeun Ou of the Bronx, New York; and his Stepfather Matthew Norman of Central Falls. His life was a testament to his compassionate nature, which was complemented by his adventurous spirit. Albert Einstein once said, "The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination." Devonte embodied this to the fullest, constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity in every aspect of his life, from his work as an online shopper for Stop & Shop and Wendy's to his hobbies. Devonte was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Chhoeut Chem as well as his friend Kendell Dublin.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Devonte on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Duffy-Poule Funeral, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, 02703.
