Charles “Chuck” Precourt

–

Attleboro, Massachusetts

Charles “Chuck” Precourt, a loving, son, father, papa, and lifelong resident of Attleboro, was born on May 3, 1981, in Attleboro, MA and passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Known to all as Chuck, he spent his life dedicated to his family and friends with an unwavering love that was truly commendable. He attended Attleboro High School and the New England Tractor Trailer School; Chuck was a Class A CDL driver for Waste Management from 2014-2021. He previously worked for Tyco Electronics. He was a man of great character who found joy in the simple things of life – spending time with his family, especially his 2 loving children and his mother. He loved watching "fight guys” (WWE), his favorite of all time being the Undertaker. He loved going out for a Dunkin coffee and a long drive to nowhere while listening to music. Chuck was able to use music to express himself like no one else. He had songs for everyone and every situation. When his dad was no longer able to play Santa Claus at Christmas, Chuck took over doing it bringing so much joy to both the children and himself-a tradition he cherished for over 10 years.

Chuck is survived by his loving mother, Patricia H. (Gagner) Sheldon of Attleboro; his wife, Keri (Devaney) Precourt and his son Charles Precourt of North Easton; his daughter, Cierra Precourt of Cumberland, RI and his brother Joseph Sheldon of Seekonk. He was the proud "Papa" to Aleyna Parfitt who was born just a few weeks ago and he also leaves many nieces and nephews. They remember him not only as a son, and a father but also as a beacon of light in their lives, always there to lend a hand and offer support.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Precourt; his sister, Rose Sheldon and his grandparents, Ernest and Elizabeth Precourt and Louis and Cynthia Gagner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation, celebrating Chuck’s life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 4 -7 p.m. at the Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA. Burial will take place privately at a later date.
