Carol Marie Julius Russ Bouthillier

Carol Marie Julius Russ Bouthillier, a woman of great spirit, and compassion, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 3rd, 1939. Carol, a dedicated and empathetic soul, spent her life serving her community and caring for her family. Her generosity and supportive nature were a beacon of light for those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Carol embraced this philosophy, spending her meaningful life in service and contributing to the enrichment of others.

Raised in Foxboro, Carol attended Foxboro High School before embarking on a career of service. She dedicated herself to various roles, from working at the Plainville Nursing Home and Sullivan Stadium Security to serving as the Head Custodian at North Attleboro Schools and volunteering at the Salvation Army. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed sewing and ceramics, but her lifelong mission was always centered around helping others.

She is survived by her daughter, Dori A. Russ Marchand of North Attleboro, her son's Charles A. Russ and his partner Roxanne Letourneau of North Attleboro and Steven M. Russ and his wife Jennifer Lima of Attleboro; Her cherished grandchildren, David Hyde, Ray Fredericksen, Derrek Burr, Jaimie Howard, Cody Russ and Lily Russ; her beloved 5 great grandchildren; and her sister Noreen Kiff

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Carol Julius and her beloved daughter Laura J. Russ.

Carol's life and devotion to service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by words of remembrance at 2:30 pm.

Carol's life, though no longer in our midst, will continue to inspire and touch hearts through her enduring legacy of love and service. We invite everyone who knew Carol to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page. This will help us all remember the incredible woman who touched so many lives with her dedication, empathy, generosity, and supportive spirit.
