Mrs. Betty Jane Denham Obituary (1928

ATTLEBORO – Betty Jane Denham, 88, of Attleboro, passed peacefully surrounded by those she loved on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was the beloved wife of 68 years to Perry A. Denham of Attleboro. Born on August 14, 1928, in Mansfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Edna (Mathewson) Booth. Betty was employed at Texas Instruments for 31 years before her retirement in 1993. She loved doting upon her granddaughters, shopping, going to the hairdresser and traveling to Atlantic City and the Amish Country. In addition to her husband, Betty leaves behind her devoted daughter, Cheryl McNeil and her husband Robert of Wrentham; her late son, Bruce Denham and her surviving daughter-in-law, Mary Denham of Seekonk; her cherished granddaughters, Rachel Denham of Malden, Katie Wibberg and her husband Shane of Woonsocket, RI, Megan McNeil and Hannah McNeil both of Wrentham; also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Heap, Lillian Bajnoci, Marion Naismith, Gertrude Rose, Francis Jenks, Barbara Johnson, Edward Chase, Maurice Booth and Billy Booth. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Living Center – Garden Place, especially Sandra, Rosemary, Dana and Clay for their compassionate care given to Betty. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, March 29, from 4-7 p.m., at the Duffy- Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30, at 11 a.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home. Burial will take place a later date.
