Barbara Sanville

Barbara A. Sanville, 88, of North Attleboro, passed away at Brookdale Attleboro on Saturday, April 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Sanville Sr.

Born on August 10, 1934 in Kearsarge, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Everson and Barbara R. Carlson.

Barbara started and ended her career after 34 years at Texas Instruments in Attleboro. She was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. She loved spending time at the beach, especially family vacations in Wells Beach Maine. Barbara very much enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her backyard.

Barbara is survived by her son, Richard Jr (Kathy) and daughter Darlene (Mary) all of Attleboro, along with her sister Peggy Stevens of Virginia, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Alan Abbott and her sister Martha Morriseau.

The family would like to extend extra special thanks to the staff at Brookdale Clare Bridge Attleboro, where Barbara spent the last 5 years fighting Alzheimer’s Disease. Also, special thanks to Bristol Hospice whom helped make her last months more comfortable.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations sent in Barbara’s memory to Norton Nine Lives Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated. Mostly honor Barbara by performing an act of kindness and hugging your family and friends.
