Mr. Russell E. Kirby Obituary (1934

ATTLEBORO – Russell E. Kirby, 80, of Attleboro passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Carol Kirby of Attleboro for 58 years. Born June 6, 1934 in Attleboro, MA he was a son of the late Thomas and Laura Kirby. Russell worked for Bliss Bros. Dairy just short of 50 years, most recently as a Manager and Director of Commissary Operations. He enjoyed yard work, computer games, puzzles, playing cards and country music. Russell was an avid sports fan and loved eating Carol’s soup and pastry’s. His loving family meant the world to him. In addition to his wife, Russell is survived by his cherished children Donna Lee Marcotte of Attleboro, Lisa Marie and her husband Jeffrey Scudere of Norton, Bradley Thomas Kirby and his wife Deborah of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Heather Pereira of Attleboro, Jessica Cook of Attleboro, Anthony Scudere of Barrington, RI, Nicholas Scudere of Norton, Rachael Kirby of Lincoln, RI; his great grandchildren, Lucas Pereira of Attleboro, Cameron Kirby of Lincoln, RI, Addison Cook of Attleboro, Kylee Pereira of Attleboro and Lyla Scudere of Barrington, RI; his siblings, Thomas Kirby of Mashpee and Gladys Brander of Attleboro; also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Irene Johnson, Marie Dunham, Gordon Kirby and Loren Kirby. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street Attleboro. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home.
