Mr. Eric T. Childs Obituary (1981

MANVILLE, RI – Eric T. Childs, 35, of Manville, RI, formerly of Attleboro, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Born on November 28, 1981 in Attleboro, MA, he leaves his father, Theodore Childs and his wife Coleen of Rehoboth, his mother, Anna Chaisty of South Attleboro and his step-father, Kevin Chaisty of Warwick, RI. Eric grew up in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. He worked as a cook, welder and also did a variety of jobs in construction. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. Eric enjoyed playing video games and he attended the South Attleboro Assembly of God Church. Eric is also survived by his siblings, Joshua Childs of NH, Scottie Chaisty of Warwick, RI, Shana Childs of Bristol, RI, Jenai Childs and Tiani Childs both of Rehoboth; his grandmother, Anna Nason of North Attleboro; his companion, Amy Crandall and beautiful daughter, Amelia Rose; also many uncles, aunts and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, February 10, from 4-7 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the South Attleboro Assembly of God Church, 1052 Newport Ave, South Attleboro. Burial will take place at a later date.
