Mr. Edward T. Bayly Sr. Obituary (1952

Edward T. Bayly Sr., 67, of Bokeelia, Florida and Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, and formerly of Attleboro, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford, Massachusetts. He was the devoted husband of Barbara (Morin) Bayly of Bokeelia, Florida and Mattappisett, Massachusetts. Born on March 4, 1952 in Janesville, Wisconsin, he was the son of Alice M. (Atkinson) Bayly and the late Thomas L. Bayly. Ed co-owned and operated W.B. Construction and Development, Orion Realty Company, and Kensington Real Estate. Earlier in is his career he was the stadium manager for the New England Patriots during the Sullivan ownership era. Ed enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Patriots. He treasured his time spent with family, especially time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, Ed is survived by his six children, Jennifer Janicki and her husband Michael, Edward Bayly Jr. and his wife Amy, Susan Brassard and her husband Jim, Sarah Cambridge and her husband Jon, Victoria Butler and her husband Pat, and Meaghan Jones and her husband Tyler; 14 grandchildren, 10 brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and other extended family members. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
